A major new commercial development is taking shape near Marion Oaks in southwest Ocala. The Publix-anchored Diamond “A” Shopping Center is currently under construction at the intersection of SW Highway 484 and SW 49th Court Road in Ocala, Florida 34473.

Projected to open in early 2027, the approximately 19.4-acre development will bring a new full-service Publix supermarket, Publix Liquors, restaurants and personal-service businesses to one of Marion County’s fastest-growing residential corridors.
